What is an Avant?
An Avant is a fantastic and efficient piece of equipment that is used for tree cutting and thinning, tree clearance and forestry jobs where smaller trees need to be cut. As standard, Avant’s are able to help with:
- Winching:
A hydraulic winch allows you to tow of all kinds of objects, including logs, trees and branches to places where you cannot drive with the machine. - Tree shearing:
An Avant tree shear is an efficient tree cutter, that can be used for forest thinning, tree clearance over stored hedge rows and similar jobs where smaller trees need to be cut and moved in tight confines. - Heavy duty log grabbing:
Avant’s have a heavy-duty log grab which can be used to move trunks and logs. The grab takes a firm grip on the wood and the lower tines are formed for grabbing bigger trees. - Timber grabbing:
Avant comes with a timber grab attachment that allows you to grab tree trunks, branches, wood waste and more to transport them lengthwise and crosswise.
