Coppicing and woodland management services
Throughout Essex and Suffolk
Coppicing is traditional woodland management method of stimulating new growth by repeatedly cutting the tree back to near ground level. It is only suitable for certain species of tree but can improve bio-diversity in a woodland by regulating light levels to the woodland floor.
Coppicing is essential to manage woodlands where the timber is harvested every 7-25 years.
If you have a wood that needs management we can assist you with the process right through planning, grant applications and wildlife conservation to the works themselves.
